THE MOTHER

THE MOTHER archetype, has a nurturing energy.

She is selfless, with those around her.

She wishes to protect and create safety.

She cultivates deep heart centered lasting relationships, bringing life into ideas and projects and passions that are merged with warmth, compassion, forgiveness self-acceptance and grow. This nurturing energy is patient and powerful and healing.

When out of balance, this energy can flow outwards to others, but not inwards. Offering the mothering to oneself that we all need boundaries must be put into place so that the mother archetype resists over functioning, attachment and entitlement with others and reliance on those around her to, to allow her to have too much influence on their lives. This can be in the form of control disguised as caring.

Her talent for nurturing can be brought into more of an edge with life, so that a nurturing woman can expand her abilities to grow things into other areas like activism, philanthropy, business, agriculture, healing arts and bringing more sensual romance forward.
